Luxury New Build Home

Internal Limestone floor over four levels - circa 550m2, Richmond, London
Details:
One of our largest projects. We were invited to come in at the end of the works after the main tiling contractor did not meet the high standards of the client. We raked out all the joints and topped up at a higher level. We then diamond cut the whole surface of the floors covering three levels and sealed the floor. Circa 550m2 in total.
We also undertook the diamond cutting of three bathrooms, two fireplaces, kitchen worktop repair and new stone installations of some missing items.

High End Residential Fire Damage Restoration.

Internal Limestone floor over four levels - circa 400m2, Kensington, London
Details:
This project in Kensington has a fire in the lower ground floor swimming pool which then required a full house refurbishment. We undertook the stone restoration before the main contractor began work. We diamond cut and polished all stone floors and staircases over four floors. We also undertook several historical repairs and matched the basement stone to replace several column bases which were removed.

Private Residential New Kitchen

Internal Limestone floor, Keston, Kent
Details:
Old kitchen was removed to be made ready for a new kitchen installation. The floor was marked, scratched and dirty from general wear and tear. Before the new kitchen was installed we came in and diamond cut the floors to the kitchen, dining room and powder room.

Luxury Private Residential Ground Floor Five Year Annual Contract, Keston, Kent

Internal Carrara marble floor, Keston, Kent
Details:
Five year annual contract with some movement to the subbase of the new single storey extension has caused lipping and of tiles and grout cracking. We removed some of the black nero marquina border and reset the stone then diamond cut the whole floor. Special anti slip treatment was added. We also undertook front porch repairs to Nero Assoluto Granite which have blown mitred. Small rust stain attended to the granite garage floor. Whole project was around 180m2

Luxury Refurbishment Honed Floor

Internal marble floor pattern, Grosvenor Square, London
Details:
This former British prime minister's home was undergoing a full refurbishment. A new floor installation in a polished finished was requested to be changed to a honed finish with very short notice. Works were completed swiftly and within timeframes for the client.

Floor Deep Clean and Seal, Richmond on Thames
Details:
The beautiful property needed a good floor clean to bring it back to just like new. We chemical washed, scrubbed and cleaned the whole ground floor and lower ground floor before sealing with two coats of sealer. The kitchen worktop, also a limestone was diamond cut and sealed to remove acid etching on the surface. We also undertook the external flagstone patio cleaning and external table diamond polishing.

Private Residential Hallway

Victorian Tiled Hallway
Details:
We were invited to inspect the floor after tiles were simply lifting away from the subbase. On inspection the tiles had been boned direct to ply sheets and not primed. We then altered the project to allow for a full floor replacement with new tiles like for like. We removed all the old tiles. Prepared the floor correctly and installed new tiles in the same pattern.
A beautiful project we are very proud of.
Worktop Repairs

Kitchen Worktop Installation Repairs
Details:
A poorly fitted and half finished new worktop by a fabricator left the client with open joints, various thickness of worktops and missing upstands left in the garden. We came in and removed the worktops, adjusted thicknesses and cut upstands to the correct sizes before installing it all again in the high finish the client expects.
Ladbroke Hall, Edwardian Baroque style Grade II Listed

Sunbeam Studio, Ladbroke Hall, 79 Barlby Road, London W10 6AZ
Details:
Ladbroke Hall, Edwardian Baroque style Grade II Listed building was built in 1903 as the headquarters building for the Sunbeam Talbot Motor Company and as such was part of the first purpose-built car factory in Britain. The building contains two large spaces originally used as car showrooms as well as offices and panelled directors’ suite.
Currently the space is being used as a photo and film studio. Following MGS Restoration Ltd’s recent works to the main marble floor in studio 3 and large Terrazzo restoration works in studio 1 & 2 the studio will now also be used for Art gallery exhibitions.
Studio 3 white marble with black key stone pattern with borders. We removed 15 damaged tiles and bespoke cut new tiles from slabs for new installation. We removed and filled with new fresh grout to the whole floor then diamond cut the surface for a flat even finish and tone before polishing the surface to a medium shine / lustre. We also diamond cut two staircases including repairs and new riser section.
Studio 1 & 2 Balconies Terrazzo laid in situ with staircases and soffits. Large damage staircase required major repair work. Floor has a large amount of cracks caused by general historic wear. These were colour matched resin filled before diamond polishing. The main floor of these studios is currently covered with a raised floor and there are plans to remove this for future Terrazzo floor restoration. Total m2 - 529

Details:
Part of general refurbishment works throughout the building we undertook the limestone floor cleaning a sealing after a water leak from the boiler caused discolouration. As you can see a very good result was achieved.

Shop internal limestone floors clean and seal out of hours.
Details:
The floor was looking tired, dirty and had a few hairline cracks. We undertook out of office work and clean, sealed and attended to hairline cracks to make the floor look as new as possible.

Details:
New owners requested the existing hallway and kitchen floor to be cleaned, buffed and sealed. We also undertook the supply, template and installation of two cupboard floors which had been left by the previous owners.
